Dear Reader(s)/Friend(s):
This is going to be the shortest blog yet and will mainly consist of the above painting. I painted “Blue Road” a few years ago when I was feeling defeated and alone and at the end of a marriage I should have left sooner but didn’t. This is just a bleep and a pause. I do hope you like the painting and that you will stick with me on this ride.
Very Sincerely, Summerhill Lane
The art alone is worth the price of admission. I’m definitely along for the ride, my friend!

I’m sorry you feel that way, Summerhill. We all need a hug when we’re feeling blue, and I hope you come out the other side of this feeling soon.

Thank you for liking my painting of Blue Road. My Art section is not finished as I am waiting for help from a friend who is technically inclined.๐

Your art is awesome. I love color and yours are really colorful. I also love impressionist style and that’s what yours seem like to me. I do some painting too, but with acrylics and after many years of painting a certain way, I’ve been trying to learn to be impressionistic. It takes a while to adjust. I’m self-taught and learned to paint through tole-painting books year ago, lol.

Thank you so much for liking my art. Painting makes me happy especially when I can load on the paint. I never had any formal training but just always loved to draw and throw paint around from an early age. It has been a blessing in my life. I would love to see some of your paintings too.
